Our expanding logistics facility in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a certified and experienced Reach Truck Operator. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be instrumental in managing high-level storage and retrieval of inventory within our warehouse. This role demands precision, efficiency, and an unwavering commitment to safety. You will operate specialized equipment to move and position pallets, ensuring optimal use of vertical space and maintaining inventory accuracy. We are committed to a safe and productive work environment, expecting all team members to follow strict safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve pallets of goods.
- Navigate warehouse aisles and reach elevated storage locations with precision.
- Load and unload trailers and containers, ensuring proper placement of inventory.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of the reach truck and report any issues immediately.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Accurately pick and stage orders for outbound shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock management.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet daily operational targets in our logistics operations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification and proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs) when not operating the reach truck.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety regulations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and meet performance standards.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed.
