Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Durham, North Carolina. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for tracking the movement of goods, conducting regular stock checks, and reconciling discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within the logistics industry and contribute to a high-volume distribution center. We prioritize a safe and efficient working environment. Proper PPE is mandatory at all times. This role involves significant Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, identify, and accurately record incoming inventory.
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized storage of inventory, including proper labeling and placement.
  • Generate inventory reports as required by management.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient material flow.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Assist with the efficient processing of orders through accurate inventory management.
  • Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and Logistics operations.
  • Perform other inventory-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting.
  • Understanding of basic Logistics principles.
  • Commitment to Safety protocols.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
