We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our private practice dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the highest standards of oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with dentists and patients, utilizing your expertise to promote good dental hygiene practices and assist in preventive care.
*Duties*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Conduct patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
* Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture high-quality radiographs.
* Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Assist in the development of treatment plans alongside the dental team.
* Apply knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to enhance patient care.
* Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and record keeping.
* Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care in general dentistry.
*Qualifications*
* Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
* Certification to administer local anesthesia and nitorus oxide
* Excellent customer service skills
* Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
* Understanding of HIPAA compliance is advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and care.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $41.19 - $45.00 per hour
