*Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist*
At the Meyer Center, our vision is to enrich the lives of children with disabilities so they can reach their maximum potential. We are currently seeking a full-time speech-language pathologist to join our organization.
This position is scheduled to work 5 days/week from 7:30am-3:00pm, 205 days/year.
*Responsibilities:*
· Performs evaluations and re-evaluations and designs treatment plans for students ages six months to eight years.
· Demonstrates advanced knowledge of diagnoses/conditions within the school setting.
· Completes treatment plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), annual re-evaluations, quarterly progress notes and daily clinical service notes.
· Demonstrates working knowledge of various aspects of speech therapy treatment including Language, Speech Production, Cognition, Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) and Feeding and Swallowing.
· Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team including families, educators, therapists and other healthcare providers.
*Requirements:*
· Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology field of study
· Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association
· In lieu of licensure and CCC only, will accept SC Intern Certificate during Clinical Fellowship
· Must be licensed in the state of South Carolina with SCLLR as a SLP
· Collaborator with good work ethic
· Completes required documentation in a timely manner
· Previous pediatric experience through employment or clinical rotation
· Available to work one summer session in June/July when school is out
