*Job Summary:*
The ASC Manager is responsible for the overall daily function of the ASC, including financial oversight and accountability, ability to understand and adhere to a budget; responsible for the direction and evaluation of the organization’s programs and activities, including but not limited to the quality council, performance improvement, risk management, and safety through a delegation of responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
Additional details of the position also include:
* Plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates activities of clinical and business operations of a single-specialty surgery center to ensure professional medical and nursing care.
* Develops, implements and maintains policies and procedures to enhance daily operations.
* Researches, designs, and provides direction for caregiver training and engagement initiatives
* Develops annual goals and objectives for the surgery center while comparing against established standards or benchmarks. Develops, monitors, and reports on the center's ability to meet key performance indicators and metrics to Governing Board. Delivers on performance commitments and achieves identified volumes to ensure center success.
* Tracks, reports, and monitors standards or updates to remain in compliance with state licensure, federal regulations (OSHA CLIA, etc.), and accreditation boards (AAAHC).
* Performs other duties as assigned.
*Skills/Qualifications:*
* Graduate of a Professional School of Nursing
* Current State license as a Registered Nurse
* Two years clinical leadership experience in outpatient surgery
* Knowledge and competency in regulatory requirements for an ASC including CMS and Accrediting Bodies (i.e. AAAHC).
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to manage complex operations and diverse personnel.
* Ability to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
* Ability to deliver financial results for areas of accountability.
* Ability to build a collaborative, clinically effective team environment.
* Strong communication skills; verbal, written and presentation.
* Ability to be flexible, lead change, remain current with healthcare environment changes and translate those changes into operational plans to discern and interpret the potential impact.
* Experience in developing successful working relationships at all levels of the organization.
* Current ACLS certification, preferred (but required within 30 days of hire)
