We are actively recruiting for a Picker/Packer position in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to support our expanding logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from our warehouse inventory and preparing them for shipment to our valued customers. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, speed, and a strong understanding of warehouse procedures. You will work in a dynamic environment, contributing directly to the efficiency and accuracy of our order fulfillment process. Ensuring that every order is picked and packed correctly is vital to maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction and operational excellence in logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order slips and pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory movements.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
- Stage completed orders for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow all company safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Practice safe Lifting techniques when handling products.
- Contribute to overall team goals within the logistics department.
