Requirements We require a highly skilled individual with over 7 years of experience in Shopify Plus. You should possess a robust understanding of Shopify Liquid, metafields, and Shopify CLI (familiarity with Hydrogen is a plus). Your experience should include migrating from a headless setup (such as Next.js) to either a native Shopify frontend or a hybrid model. Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and optionally GraphQL is essential. You must have a track record of integrating third-party Shopify applications (such as Matrixify) into custom themes and modifying theme structures for image-based variations. A strong grasp of performance optimization for Shopify storefronts, combined with excellent communication abilities and the capacity to work independently, is also necessary. Responsibilities
As a Senior Shopify Frontend Developer, you will take charge of rebuilding our existing Next.js headless frontend, utilizing Shopifys native theme structure or a hybrid architecture. Your goal will be to ensure swift loading times and a seamless user experience. You will manage complex product variation logic, handling up to 7 variations with tools like Matrixify. Additionally, you will create dynamic product pages where variation images update in real-time based on user selections. Customizing layouts and theme structures in Shopify to facilitate new user experience flows will also be part of your role. Collaborating closely with our design and backend teams, you will ensure a smooth integration with our current data. Finally, your work will focus on optimizing performance to meet Core Web Vitals standards and Shopify performance benchmarks. Company

As we embark on transitioning from a headless Next.js frontend to an optimized Shopify frontend (or a hybrid model), we seek a seasoned Shopify Frontend Developer to lead this migration and enhance our performance and scalability. We are located in Fullerton, CA, and are looking for a full-time team member. The compensation for this role ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year.
