We are seeking an experienced and energetic X-Ray Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing X-Ray procedures, using the high-tech equipment in our offices, and working well independently and as part of a team. *Duties/Responsibilities:*
· Using proper radiation protection and precautions, prepares and operates radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable equipment.
· Positions patients to obtain appropriate radiographic exposures.
· Maintains computerized records, files, and/or reports.
· Participates in quality control and quality assurance studies.
· Assists the supervising radiologist with administrative functions.
· Performs other duties as required.
*Required Skills/Abilities:*
· Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
· Knowledge of the current trends and techniques of x-ray technology.
· Ability to conduct quality control studies; learn to use computerized radiologic equipment; learn to operate a computer for recordkeeping purposes.
· Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients and staff.
· Incumbents must be able to work stand-by and call-back duty and respond to a call within 30 minutes.
*Education and Experience:*
· Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
· One year of experience is desirable.
· Ability to speak in English and Spanish highly desirable.

*Physical Requirements:*
· Prolonged periods of standing, reaching, and bending.
· Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times.
· Physical strength and agility to position patients for various diagnostic examinations.
