We are currently seeking a *compassionate, licensed Physical Therapist* to join our renowned rehabilitation team. As a Physical Therapist at OCPBC, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, and rehabilitation specialists. Your role will focus on delivering customized, evidence-based physical therapy for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. *Key Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
* Deliver therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, modalities, and functional training
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, progress notes, and treatment results using EMR
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
* Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
* Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, home exercises, and preventative care.
* Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
* Completes all other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications*
* Doctorate or Bachelor’s/Master’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
* Current Florida PT license
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience in orthopedic settings preferred but not required
* CPR/BLS certification
*Skills*
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy.
* Proficient in patient care techniques and methodologies.
* Familiarity with medical terminology related to rehabilitation.
* Experience in orthopedics and acute care settings is preferred.
* Competence in developing effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
