* Field testing at a variety of client sites for component thermal performance, efficiency, and related performance parameters
* Advanced thermal and hydraulic performance analyses
* Precision instrumentation rental
Position Summary:
Our performance Group seeks skilled Mechanical, Electrical, or Thermal Engineers to
join our team in Knoxville, TN. You’ll play a key role in conducting on-site testing and
performance analyses with precision instrumentation to conduct in-situ evaluations of
turbines, boilers, heat rejection systems and related components. Project work will
occur in a wide variety of settings including power generation, petrochemical, process
plants, and campus utilities at both US and international sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct power plant and component performance testing and analyses at client
* sites both domestic and International
* Work with ASME and CTI performance test codes
* Install and remove test instrumentation in physically demanding situations
* Analyze and report technical data
* Support clients in determining system efficiency and evaluating compliance with component performance guarantees
Required Qualifications:
* B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering (or related field)
* U. S. Citizen or Green Card holder
* 3+ years of hands-on experience in power plant performance testing
* Knowledge of ASME performance test codes
* Strong analytical and communication skills
* Willingness to travel extensively (including occasional weekends)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with remote data acquisition and precision testing instruments
* Familiarity with CTI test standards and ANSI sound testing standards
* Project management experience

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
