We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech and Language Pathologist to join our healthcare team. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations, with a focus on pediatrics and early intervention. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a solid understanding of physiology and anatomy related to speech and language, and experience working in school or clinical settings. *Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and assessment results.
* Provide evidence-based therapy interventions for children and/or adults with speech, language, or communication disorders.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, physicians, and caregivers to support patient progress.
* Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust therapy strategies accordingly.
* Educate patients and families about communication strategies, exercises, and home practice routines.
* Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Stay current with advances in speech therapy techniques, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge relevant to patient care.
*Experience*
* Prior school experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is highly desirable.
* Experience in pediatrics or early intervention programs is preferred.
* Proven background in speech therapy including patient assessment and treatment planning.
* Knowledge of physiology, anatomy related to speech production and swallowing functions is essential.
* Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology enhances effectiveness in clinical documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
* Strong patient care skills with the ability to connect effectively with diverse age groups and communication needs. This role requires a passionate professional committed to improving communication abilities through expert evaluation and tailored therapy interventions.
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50.0 – 60.0 per week
