Your application will stand out if you can demonstrate how you have: Designedcomplex software systems, collaborating with stakeholders to prioritise requirements. Developed system architectures and high-level product specifications to create robust, scalable, and secure solutions. Utilised appropriate tools and methodologies for software requirement specification and architecture. Led development teams to select implementation technologies and establish quality assurance processes aligned with architecture. Ensured consistency of development progress with initial design, adapting architecture and plans as needed. Engaged with colleagues as a mentor, sharing skills and experience. Strong candidates will also demonstrate their: Domain experience in at least one of: Embedded systems (RTOS, bare metal, hard real-time) Application software (industrial automation, networking protocols, UI frameworks, IT systems) IoT services and Cloud development (Azure, AWS, etc) AI/ML systems Cybersecurity Proficiency with software specification andarchitecture design methodologies, plusfamiliarwithrequirements management and system modelling tools Experience developing software in regulated industries Don't worry if you don't match every single bullet point - what matters most is your ability to tackle complex problems, drive architecture to delivery, and lead effectively.
