Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic warehouse team in Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and identifying discrepancies. This role is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring that stock levels are precise and that warehouse operations run smoothly. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to implement best practices in inventory management. This position requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. The responsibilities include tracking incoming and outgoing inventory, performing regular audits, and investigating variances. You will also be involved in managing stock rotation, ensuring product freshness and preventing obsolescence. Training on our specialized inventory management software will be provided. Successful candidates will be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and will adhere strictly to all company safety protocols. This role offers a great opportunity to grow within our company. Daily tasks will include data entry, reconciliation of stock, and reporting on inventory levels. A key aspect of this role involves proactive problem-solving to address any inventory-related issues that may arise. Compliance with all warehouse policies and procedures is paramount. The ability to handle and manage physical inventory is a plus. You will also assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency. Regular communication with other departments, such as procurement and sales, will be necessary to ensure seamless operations. Demonstrating a keen understanding of inventory control principles is essential. This role may involve some light lifting . Familiarity with warehouse PPE requirements is expected.
