You'll be utilizing order lists or scanners to locate items, ensuring they are picked correctly and prepared for packing and shipment. A strong commitment to Safety is crucial, and all necessary PPE will be provided. This position requires physical agility and the ability to perform consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs. As an Order Picker, you are a vital link in our Logistics chain, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order details.
- Verify picked items against order forms for accuracy.
- Prepare picked items for the packing and shipping departments.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed, following all Safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE correctly.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Support the overall Logistics process by ensuring timely and accurate picking.
- Communicate any picking discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Willingness to wear required PPE .
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
