As a Material Handler, you will be instrumental in the efficient movement and organization of goods within our facility. Your responsibilities will include receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming materials, as well as picking, packing, and preparing outgoing shipments. This role requires a strong commitment to Safety protocols and the proper use of PPE . You'll be working with a variety of materials, so the ability to handle Lifting up to 50 lbs consistently is essential. Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct visual inspections of materials and products to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including strict adherence to Safety guidelines.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Assist with the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Comply with all Logistics and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
