We have an immediate opening for a dedicated Order Picker at our Kansas City, Missouri facility. In this role, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders by accurately selecting items from our extensive inventory. Your day-to-day will involve navigating the warehouse, locating products using our inventory management system, and preparing them for shipment. This position demands precision, speed, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The logistics of our operation depend on the accuracy and efficiency of our picking team. You will be working in a dynamic environment where attention to detail is crucial for minimizing errors and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order specifications.
- Use RF scanners and other technology to manage inventory and track orders.
- Inspect items for quality before packing.
- Stage orders for packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace according to safety guidelines.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and logistics flow.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to interpret order lists and product codes.
- Basic computer skills for using scanning equipment.
- Physical stamina for walking, bending, and standing throughout the shift.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
