We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating warehouse equipment, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse systems, a commitment to safety, and the ability to troubleshoot common issues. This position is crucial for upholding efficiency and operational excellence in our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyor belts, forklifts, pallet wrappers).
- Assist in the setup and configuration of warehouse systems and equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or required service.
- Support inventory control by ensuring accurate tracking and organization of goods.
- Operate specialized warehouse machinery as needed.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Assist in the efficient flow of materials within the Logistics operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment or process issues.
- Ensure all work complies with established procedures and company standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Worker, or in a similar technical role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including occasional Lifting of up to 60 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and Logistics operations.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE , including safety glasses, gloves, and hard hats where necessary.
- Commitment to adhering to all Safety protocols and guidelines.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
