Join our dedicated team as a Warehouse Associate in Richmond, Virginia! This role is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our distribution center. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving inventory, stocking shelves, picking and packing customer orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. A commitment to accuracy and efficiency is key to success in this position. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment and operating warehouse equipment safely. Our company places a strong emphasis on safety; therefore, adherence to all safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE and safe lifting practices, is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming merchandise.
- Stock products into appropriate warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack items for customer orders.
- Assemble outgoing shipments and prepare them for dispatch.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred).
- Maintain inventory accuracy and report any discrepancies.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, orderly, and safe at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Perform tasks involving regular lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Contribute to teamwork and efficient workflow.
- Support the broader logistics and supply chain functions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is desirable.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
- Commitment to safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
