Join our team as a Distribution Center Associate in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! This dynamic role is essential for the smooth operation of our distribution center, contributing to efficient logistics and timely order fulfillment. You will be involved in a variety of tasks including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping. Accuracy, speed, and a commitment to safety are paramount. This position requires physical capability and a keen eye for detail to ensure customer satisfaction. You will be an important link in our supply chain. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality.
- Accurately store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and prepare customer orders for shipment using RF scanners or other technology.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely, selecting appropriate shipping materials.
- Stage outgoing shipments for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and support general warehouse operations.
Previous experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred. Must be able to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly. Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Understanding of warehouse safety best practices. High school diploma or equivalent.
