We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our facility in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is fundamental to our logistics and distribution operations, ensuring that products are correctly selected from inventory and packaged for shipment to our valued customers. You will be expected to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe work area, adhering to strict Safety procedures, and collaborating with your team to meet performance metrics. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, energetic, and committed to quality. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Inspect products for defects or damage before packing.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain productivity standards and accuracy rates.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counting.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for the duration of the shift.
- Capacity for moderate Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics is beneficial.
