Join our dedicated team as a Warehouse Worker in Sacramento, California! We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to contribute to the efficient operation of our distribution center. This role is critical for managing the flow of goods, from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping. You will play a key part in ensuring accuracy and timely order fulfillment. Our commitment to safety is paramount; therefore, strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is expected. This position involves physical tasks, including significant Lifting, and requires a proactive approach to warehouse management and logistics. We value teamwork and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming inventory.
- Organize and place received goods into designated warehouse storage areas.
- Pick products based on customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
- Operate manual warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse space.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety and the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and other related tasks.
- Assist with various warehouse duties as needed to support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar physical labor environment is advantageous. Must be capable of performing tasks requiring physical exertion, including regular Lifting of up to 50 lbs. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Understanding of and adherence to safety procedures, including PPE requirements. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics is helpful.
