In this role, you will be instrumental in the movement and organization of materials, ensuring seamless transitions within our supply chain. Your responsibilities will encompass receiving, transporting, and storing a wide variety of goods. Maintaining a safe working environment is our top priority, and strict adherence to safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE, is expected. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment throughout the facility using appropriate machinery.
- Stage materials for production, shipping, or storage.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment responsibly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocktaking.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Perform regular equipment checks to ensure operational readiness and safety.
- Practice good housekeeping to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
- Assist in the efficient flow of goods within the logistics process.
- Perform other material handling duties as directed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role in a warehouse or logistics environment. Forklift certification is highly desirable. Must be capable of consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs. Demonstrated understanding of workplace safety and the importance of PPE. Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
