Are you looking for an opportunity in the logistics industry? Our Denver, Colorado facility has an opening for a Receiving Clerk. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting all goods entering the warehouse. This position is critical for ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining the integrity of our supply chain. Key duties include unloading delivery vehicles, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, and promptly entering received items into our inventory management system. This role requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to handle packages of varying sizes and weights, often involving lifting up to 50 lbs. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe receiving area. We value reliability, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach. While experience in logistics or as a receiving clerk is preferred, comprehensive training will be provided. Ensuring a safe work environment is a top priority; all employees must follow safety regulations and properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from delivery trucks.
- Verify received goods against shipping documents and purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming items for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately record received inventory into the WMS.
- Label and stage goods for distribution or put-away.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts as needed.
