You will be responsible for locating specific items within our warehouse, ensuring their quality, and packing them appropriately for shipment. The job involves frequent physical activity, including significant amounts of Lifting, and requires the ability to work at a steady pace. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using order sheets or RF scanners.
- Verify the identity and quantity of picked items against order details.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label shipments correctly and prepare them for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure Safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Operate material handling equipment like pallet jacks as needed.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Contribute to overall warehouse operations and logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics role, especially as a Picker/Packer, is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
