Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to oversee inventory accuracy and management within our St. Louis, Missouri warehouse. This vital role ensures that our inventory data is precise, leading to efficient operations and satisfied customers. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining inventory control procedures, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and optimizing stock levels. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency with inventory management software. A solid understanding of warehouse logistics and best practices is essential. While this role may involve some physical tasks, including occasional Lifting , the primary focus is on data integrity and process improvement. Adherence to all company Safety policies and the correct use of PPE are expected. Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective inventory control procedures.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Manage stock rotation and ensure product integrity.
  • Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Operate scanning equipment and inventory management systems.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes, including occasional Lifting of up to 30 lbs.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and proper use of PPE .
  • Contribute to the optimization of warehouse Logistics and efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including occasional Lifting .
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and use of PPE .
