We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials. Your duties will include inspecting equipment before use, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and assisting with inventory management. A strong commitment to safety and adherence to all operational procedures are paramount. This position requires excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will be a key player in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our logistics network. Experience with various types of forklifts and a valid certification are essential. We are dedicated to providing a secure workplace, so compliance with all safety regulations and the correct use of PPE is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock placement.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Adhere to strict protocols regarding the use of PPE.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate different types of forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Good physical condition with the ability to perform required lifting.
- Familiarity with PPE requirements for warehouse environments.
