We are looking for a meticulous and organized Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee operations at our Huntsville, Alabama facility. The Warehouse Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods, managing inventory, and coordinating warehouse staff. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing storage space, coordinating shipments, and supervising warehouse personnel to ensure productivity and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles, as well as excellent organizational and leadership skills. You must be committed to upholding rigorous safety protocols, including ensuring the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all team members. The ability to perform moderate Lifting and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to take on a key role in our logistics operations. We are seeking a proactive problem-solver who can contribute to continuous improvement within the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and safety.
- Implement and maintain efficient Logistics processes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper PPE usage.
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Generate reports on inventory, shipments, and operational efficiency.
- Perform tasks involving moderate Lifting as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or management.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and Logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
