Are you a skilled Forklift Operator with a passion for efficient warehouse operations? We are hiring for a motivated Forklift Operator to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our facility. You will operate various types of forklifts to transport goods, load and unload trucks, and move inventory within the warehouse. Maintaining a safe working environment is our top priority, and we expect all operators to strictly follow safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper forklift operation techniques. Experience with both sit-down and stand-up forklifts is highly desirable. You will be responsible for pre-operational checks on equipment, identifying any potential hazards, and ensuring smooth workflow. This position involves significant Forklift operation and requires the ability to perform some Lifting when necessary. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in handling materials are essential. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
- Transport goods between different areas of the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-operational checks on forklifts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including PPE usage.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient Logistics operations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Perform tasks involving moderate Lifting as needed.
- Operate specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Strong understanding of Logistics principles.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
