We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our dynamic team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, ensuring they adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly concerning safety protocols and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will be involved in performance management, training, and ensuring efficient workflow to meet operational goals. Key responsibilities include inventory management, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with other departments, and identifying opportunities for process improvement within the logistics chain. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally is essential for certain tasks. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient and accurate receiving, storing, and shipping of products.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety procedures and the correct use of PPE.
- Train new employees on warehouse operations and safety guidelines.
- Manage team performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Implement and maintain efficient logistics processes.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with management to improve overall warehouse efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to warehouse operations and Lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
