In this essential role, you will contribute to the smooth functioning of our logistics network by performing a variety of tasks related to the movement and handling of goods. Responsibilities may include picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, operating material handling equipment, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and possess a strong commitment to workplace safety. Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is highly valued. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting. A team-oriented mindset and the ability to follow instructions precisely are crucial. All employees are required to strictly adhere to safety protocols and utilize all designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various warehouse duties including picking, packing, and sorting.
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks.
- Operate material handling equipment safely (if applicable).
- Stock and organize inventory in designated locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the distribution center.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate effectively with team members.
- Assist with inventory counts and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
