Join our dynamic team as a Picker/Packer in the bustling Los Angeles, California area! We are seeking motivated individuals to contribute to the efficient operation of our state-of-the-art logistics facility. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This role involves meticulous attention to detail as you navigate the warehouse, locate products using scanning devices, and prepare them for shipment. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items based on order tickets, carefully packing those items into appropriate shipping containers, and ensuring all shipments are labeled correctly. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation is also a key aspect of this position, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency and safety. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and expect all employees to adhere to strict safety protocols. This includes the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. You will be expected to perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy Lifting, so a good physical condition is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using RF scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into boxes, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and labeling.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
