Seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our facility in Orlando, Florida. This position is vital for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which is crucial for our overall logistics operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, including cycle counting, reconciling discrepancies, conducting audits, and ensuring accurate data entry into our inventory management system. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment is a top priority, and adherence to all safety procedures and the use of appropriate PPE are mandatory. While the role is primarily focused on data and process, occasional lifting of inventory items may be necessary during audits or discrepancy resolution. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory control principles, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency with WMS software. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting regular cycle counts and performing physical inventory audits.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
- Maintaining real-time inventory records within the Warehouse Management System.
- Monitoring stock levels and identifying potential issues such as overstock or stockouts.
- Generating inventory reports and providing insights to management.
- Implementing and enforcing inventory control policies and best practices.
- Collaborating with warehouse staff to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
