We are seeking a diligent and organized Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring all incoming goods are accurately documented, inspected, and processed efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe receiving area, verifying shipments against purchase orders, and reporting any discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your role contributes directly to the smooth flow of our supply chain. You'll be expected to utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to record incoming inventory and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials. Attention to safety protocols is paramount, including the proper use of any required PPE. This position involves frequent lifting and the ability to operate basic warehouse equipment. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage or defects and report any issues.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.

- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding deliveries.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Perform tasks that may involve significant lifting and manual handling.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving or warehouse operations preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy lifting.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
