We are seeking a skilled and motivated Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in San Francisco, California. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. You will work closely with the warehouse team to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Your primary duties will include loading and unloading trucks, picking and staging orders, and performing regular equipment inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) to move materials.
- Load and unload trailers and trucks.
- Pick and stage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and checks.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of required PPE.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to Safety and adherence to all regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
