Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of forklifts safely and proficiently.
- Load and unload shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Move inventory to designated storage areas.
- Conduct daily safety checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
- Follow all warehouse and logistics procedures.
- Strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks when required.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- This job involves significant physical activity and requires careful lifting.
- Ensure all movements are done with the utmost care for product integrity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to operate multiple types of forklifts.
- Commitment to safety and responsible equipment operation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to adhere to strict PPE requirements.
- Experience in a high-volume logistics environment is beneficial.
