We are seeking a diligent and experienced Shipping & Receiving Associate to manage the crucial intersection of incoming and outgoing goods at our Miami, Florida facility. This dual-role position is essential for the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain. You will be responsible for expertly handling all aspects of receiving, inspecting, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify inventory against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Stock merchandise accurately into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers for inbound and outbound freight.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in both receiving and shipping areas.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist with discrepancy resolution.
- Handle the physical demands of lifting and moving goods, up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in both warehouse receiving and shipping roles is essential.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Commitment to safety and consistent use of PPE.
