We are seeking a meticulous Order Picker to join our bustling warehouse in Denver, Colorado. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving specific items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders or pick lists. Your precision and efficiency are vital to ensuring our order fulfillment process runs smoothly and customers receive exactly what they ordered. This role is a cornerstone of our Logistics operations. We are deeply committed to the health and well-being of our employees, which includes providing the necessary PPE and upholding stringent Safety standards. This position requires agility and stamina, involving extensive walking throughout the warehouse and regular Lifting of items that can weigh up to 40 pounds.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and retrieve items from warehouse locations as specified by pick lists or electronic devices.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Operate order picking equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in assigned picking zones.
- Conduct regular checks on inventory levels in picking areas.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to supervisors immediately.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE at all times.
- Contribute to the overall speed and accuracy of our Logistics fulfillment.
- Perform tasks requiring physical coordination, including walking, bending, reaching, and Lifting .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product information accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good navigational skills within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Capacity for Lifting items up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics workflows.
- Willingness to strictly follow all Safety guidelines and use PPE .
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
