We are seeking an energetic Picker/Packer to join our fulfillment team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled and prepared for shipment. Your responsibilities will include locating specific items within the warehouse using an order list or scanner, carefully packaging them to prevent damage, and preparing them for dispatch. This is a hands-on position critical to our Logistics operations. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and adherence to all Safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE , is essential. This role requires a high level of activity, including significant walking, standing, and frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items according to order sheets or scanning devices.
- Inspect items for defects and ensure quality before packing.
- Pack products securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Meet established performance metrics for picking and packing speed and accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize all required PPE correctly and consistently.
- Contribute to the overall success of our Logistics and fulfillment processes.
- Engage in tasks requiring physical dexterity, including significant standing, walking, and Lifting .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work at a consistent pace in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Capacity for Lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Willingness to adhere to all Safety guidelines and wear necessary PPE .
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
