We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is crucial to the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing goods. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and performing general warehouse maintenance. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting are essential. We are committed to the safety of our employees and provide all necessary PPE . This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be provided).
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily goals in our fast-paced Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Proficiency in basic math and reading skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to wear appropriate PPE .
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Comfortable with Lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace Safety is paramount.
