Your role will involve selecting items from warehouse shelves according to order slips and preparing them for shipment. Precision, speed, and a commitment to Safety are key in this role. You'll be an integral part of our fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and in excellent condition. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order tickets to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and safely for transit, using appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages for shipment according to company and carrier guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and general warehouse area.
- Follow all Safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties when required.
- Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment targets.
- Must be able to handle physical tasks including frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following instructions.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory principles is a plus.
