We are searching for a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to manage the daily operations of our Nashville, Tennessee distribution center. This critical role involves overseeing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods. You will be a key liaison between various departments, including receiving, shipping, and customer service, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all logistics processes. Your leadership and problem-solving skills will be vital to our operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and training.
- Coordinate the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of materials.
- Manage inventory levels, conducting regular audits and implementing control measures.
- Plan and schedule outbound shipments, optimizing routes and carrier selection.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
- Track shipments and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for efficient operations.
- Resolve any operational issues or discrepancies that arise.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or a similar management role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in WMS software and other relevant technologies.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to best practices.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
