We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator for our facility in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will oversee and manage various warehouse activities to ensure the efficient and organized flow of goods. Your responsibilities will include managing inventory, coordinating shipments, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with all Safety regulations. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and relevant departments.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure adherence to all company Safety policies and procedures, and enforce the use of PPE .
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain records of warehouse activities and generate performance reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or management.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including occasional Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- In-depth knowledge of Logistics and supply chain operations.
- A strong commitment to workplace Safety and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
