We are seeking dedicated Picker/Packers for our busy distribution center in Jacksonville, Florida. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory and packing them securely for shipment to our customers. Efficiency, accuracy, and a commitment to Safety are paramount. You'll be part of a fast-paced environment, playing a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and correct order fulfillment within our Logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order fulfillment lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding areas.
- Operate scanning equipment and other warehouse technology as required.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Participate in inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Contribute to overall team productivity and efficiency goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a pick and pack role or warehouse environment is highly advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capability of Lifting up to 40 lbs on a regular basis.
- Excellent attention to detail to minimize errors.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of basic Logistics and inventory management.
- A strong focus on workplace Safety and following instructions precisely.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
