We are seeking energetic and efficient Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Austin, Texas. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment, be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, and possess a strong commitment to safety. You must adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities include using scanning devices to locate and record inventory, assembling orders, packaging items securely for transit, and moving products within the warehouse. This position requires the ability to perform frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and warehouse area.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of inventory as needed.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines and utilize required PPE.
- Perform duties that involve frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good manual dexterity and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Basic understanding of logistics is a plus.
