*Key Responsibilities:*
- Prepare project cost estimates and proposals including performing labor and material takeoffs and gathering subcontractor quotes
- Work closely with the design team and subcontractors to ensure proposals provide best value while reducing risk
- Assist with the preparation of job scopes and subcontracts
- Prepare construction schedules
- Resolve technical questions with the client, designer, subcontractors and other project team members as required
- Work with the technical team to prepare, review and maintain the submittal register and Request for Information (RFI) log
- Document project condition changes and submit changes requests
- Prepare pay requests and approve and code subcontractor and supplier pay requests
- Provide input with the preparation of in-progress job cost reports
- Provide value engineering ideas and help control project costs
- Manage and assign resources to projects and actively participate in building project teams
- Work closely with the project team including superintendents, Quality Control Manager and Site Safety and Health Officer to ensure construction activities are meeting the project requirements
- Review and manage project budgets to ensure job profitability
- Participate in the Quality management process
- Interface regularly with the Client(s), leading project status meetings and managing communication
- Attend site meetings as required
- At times act as a Project Engineer, Project Superintendent or Construction Quality Control Manager depending on the immediate needs of the Company
*Skills & Qualifications:*
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience managing construction projects and overseeing teams
- Ability read and interpret project drawings, specifications and codes
- Federal contracting experience
- Estimating and proposal experience
- Strong computer skills, including experience with MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office Suite, bid management software
- Excellent technical and analytical skills with an ability to solve problems
- Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in organizational tools or software
- Ability to communicate strategically and efficiently, both written and verbally
- Superior customer service mindset
- Proven ability to multi-task and have a “roll-up the sleeves” mentality
- Ability to establish good working relationships, both internally and with external stakeholders
- Demonstrates passion and drive for the future of the organization
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or Construction Management is highly preferred

*Salary:* $150,000 - $175,000 annually
*Annual Incentive:* TBD
