System technician for IT infrastructure in the scientific sector (f/m/d)Berlin permanent position full-time/part-time mobile working What is it about?

In order to bring "light into the darkness" even faster, we are looking for personnel support in the planning, coordination and implementation of exciting projects in the area of network and IT infrastructure.

In your hands:
  • Responsibility for the network locations at the data centers, for the power supplies and for data cabinets and cabling
  • Expansion, optimization and monitoring of the site infrastructures
  • Managing roll-out projects and coordinating the teams and service providers involved
  • System documentation and operation of the implemented environments
  • Carrying out market research and evaluating various systems
  • Creating scripts and programs for the configuration of network infrastructure sensors
Ideally, you already have this:
  • Successfully completed vocational training or a degree in a technical field or comparable qualifications
  • At least two years of professional experience in the IT sector
  • Experience in the construction and operation of data centers, especially structured cabling, air conditioning and standard-compliant power supplies
  • good communication skills: as the point of contact for our customers and partners, you are always ready to listen and happy to provide support
  • A structured, independent and results-oriented way of working
  • Project management experience? Knowledge of planning and project work? Not a must, but could be. We would be delighted to have it.
  • Very good German and good English skills
