This role is fundamental to our logistics chain, ensuring that products are moved efficiently and safely from receiving to storage and then to shipping. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials using hand trucks or pallet jacks, and organizing inventory within designated areas. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with manual handling and possess the ability to perform repetitive tasks. This position requires a good degree of physical fitness, as it involves significant lifting and standing for extended periods. We prioritize the well-being of our employees, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE , is mandatory. Training will be provided on specific equipment and warehouse protocols. You will work as part of a team to ensure that all materials are accounted for and properly staged for further processing. Responsibilities include receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing slips, and stocking received goods. You will also be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are correctly picked and packed. The ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines is crucial. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials.
- Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts (certification may be required for forklifts).
- Transport materials to and from designated warehouse locations.
- Organize and maintain warehouse stock and inventory.
- Assist with order picking and packing for outgoing shipments.
- Conduct routine checks of equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and wear provided PPE .
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support overall logistics operations within the warehouse.
- Perform manual lifting as required, adhering to safe lifting techniques.
