We are hiring a Receiving Clerk for our facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This position is key to managing the inflow of goods into our warehouse. You will be responsible for accurately documenting, inspecting, and organizing all incoming shipments. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong understanding of inventory control principles within a logistics framework. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring our inventory records are up-to-date and that all goods are handled with care. You'll be interacting with delivery drivers and internal teams, making clear communication essential.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Verify the quantity and quality of received goods, noting any discrepancies or damages.
- Accurately enter receiving data into the inventory management system.
- Tag or label all incoming merchandise appropriately.
