We are hiring Picker/Packers for our busy Boston, Massachusetts warehouse! Become an integral part of our logistics team, responsible for ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled with precision and care. Your primary duties will involve accurately picking products from our inventory and meticulously packing them for safe delivery. This role demands a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse setting. You will work with a variety of products, utilizing equipment and adhering to best practices in warehouse management. Safety is our top priority, and we provide all necessary PPE. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to stand for long periods, and consistent Lifting of packages. Responsibilities:
- Select correct items from warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Pack items securely, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Conduct quality checks to confirm order accuracy and condition.
- Prepare shipments by applying labels and necessary documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Operate hand trucks or other warehouse equipment safely.
- Participate in inventory control activities as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar logistics role.
- Must be able to handle moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and familiarity with PPE.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
