We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage daily operations at our Tampa, Florida facility. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and organization of our warehouse, ensuring that all logistics activities are performed smoothly and effectively. The Warehouse Coordinator will supervise a team, manage inventory, and coordinate the flow of goods. Your leadership and organizational skills will be key to optimizing warehouse performance and achieving operational goals. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
- Supervise and provide guidance to warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to procedures.
- Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts, stock rotation, and discrepancy resolution.
- Ensure efficient organization and utilization of warehouse space.
- Implement and enforce strict Safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Coordinate with transportation providers and other departments to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Manage the use of warehouse equipment and schedule maintenance as needed.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, Safety guidelines, and proper handling of goods.
- Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement in Logistics efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and Logistics .
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in WMS software and MS Office Suite.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices and regulations.
- Experience with Lifting requirements and safe material handling techniques.
- Willingness to wear required PPE .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
